Your child’s last science and social studies test will be this Wednesday. Please make sure that your child is prepared.
K-2 will be singing this weekend. Please have your child come sing in church for the last time this school year.
This week we will just be returning books to the library. We will not be able to check them out since the school year is coming to a close. 
There will be no newsletter next week, so keep this one if you need to remember any dates.

World- a name for the Earth and everything on it
Globe- a model of the Earth
Continent- One of the largest bodies of land on the Earth
Language- the words people use
Bar graph- uses blocks to show how much or how many of something
Communication- to share information or ideas
Energy- something that can cause change or do work
Heat- a kind of energy that makes things warm
Light- a kind of energy that you can see
Sound- a kind of energy that you can hear
Vibrates- moves back and forth very fast
Pitch- how high or low a sound is
Volume- how loud or soft a sound is
Gravity- a for that pulls objects toward Earth’s center
Machine- a tool that makes some things easier to do
Force- a push or a pull 
Speed- how fast or slow something moves
Motion- moving from one place to another
